Central Queens United Church

Christmas Concert

We invite you to join us in a Christmas Concert on Sunday, December 18th featuring the Central Queens Musical Friends and guest performers. This musical program will provide folks with nostalgic carols as well as a variety of seasonal music from past to present. Come, relax, and escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy the reason for the season. Concert starts at 7:00 p.m. with a free will offering as the price to attend this evening of celebration.

Mitten Tree

The mitten tree has been set up at the back of the sanctuary. Let's cover the tree with lots of mittens, scarves, and hats! These items will then be distributed to schools. The tree will be up until Christmas Eve. Help us fill our mitten tree to overflowing!

Christmas Services

On Christmas Eve, there will be an inter-generational service at 6:00 p.m. Holy Communion will be served.

On Christmas Day, there will be a worship service at 10:30 p.m.

Both services will be held in-person as well as being live-streamed on our Facebook page. Come and celebrate Chrismas with us!

Good Friday Service

On April 15, 2022, we held a Good Friday service. Three large crosses and a tomb were placed at the front of the church. During the service, Greg placed bricks in front of the Christ candle until at the end of the service the bricks completley blocked the candle and we could no longer see the light of Christ. At the conclusion of the service, the stone was moved to close the tomb.
